As new technologies automate more tasks, some experts predict that many jobs could change—or even disappear—in the coming years. These changes leave many people wondering: Is higher education still worth it? How can I prepare myself or my family for an uncertain future?

Learn what drives the demand for jobs and education in the age of AI. Learn how to adapt to shifting career landscapes, understand which skills will remain in demand, and discover practical steps you can take today to stay competitive and confident in tomorrow’s world of work.

         Participants will be able to:

• Explain how artificial intelligence is influencing the future of work, education, and workforce demand.

• Identify current trends in automation and AI and recognize how they may affect different occupations and industries.

• Evaluate the continuing role of higher education, certifications, and lifelong learning in preparing for an AI-driven economy.

• Recognize the technical and human skills—such as critical thinking, communication, adaptability, and digital literacy—that are likely to remain valuable as AI evolves.

• Assess how AI may impact their own career, educational goals, or family planning and identify opportunities for growth and reskilling.

• Develop a personalized action plan to prepare for future education and career opportunities in a rapidly changing workforce.
