These people have many needs, which can usually be boiled down to information, resources and support. You can help them by identifying the typical needs of these people, how many of these needs your institution already addresses or can easily accommodate.  For those needs that are out of the scope of your service area, how can you identify local resources available as referrals?  You can help these people navigate the complex web of support resources by helping them get the right help from the right person at the right time.
